Updated 9/1/11: The 2011 Annual Conference approved a plan to transition from twelve districts to eight. The Transition Team has begun its work and is eager to receive and consider contributions regarding the implementation of the decision. Please provide your thoughts to the team by offering your reflections on the questions provided in the Transition Team Survey.
This six-question survey is anonymous. If you choose to leave your name and contact information in the field with your response, the team will have the option of following up with you for further conversation. This survey will be available until August 31, 2011. Thank you for your time in providing your unique perspective to this work! The report of the Task Force on Superintendency that was approved at the 2011 Annual Conference is available for your review.
A map showing current districts and the possible district changes (outlined in red) is shown above. To view a more detailed map, including church names/locations, click the image above. To zoom further, click again on the image that opens in a new window.
Please note that the map/church data is from MissionInsite. All churches may not be listed. Churches that are not listed will not be closing due to district changes. A document has been posted that contains a listing of the churches by proposed district.
Also, a form has been posted allowing you to notify the transition team that a church may better fit within a different district for some special reason.
